The Branson Board of Aldermen recognized Anisha Coote as the Employee of the Month during Tuesday night's board meeting.

Alderman Ruth Denham presented Coote with the award at the Board of Aldermen meeting. Coote serves as the city's planning and development office specialist.

"Anisha was nominated due to her outstanding teamwork and service. She took it upon herself to teach and support a fellow employee who was filling in and not familiar with the City’s new CitizenServe platform," Denham said.

The alderman explained that Coote followed up with the employee on several occasions, making herself available to help. "This dedication and professionalism can be seen daily as she provides first rate customer service to those who go into the Planning & Development Department," Denham added.
