Another Major Crime in Cassville as an Exeter Man is Killed in Stabbing Incident

A Lakes Area Community with a population of just over 3200 has seen its a high number of major incidents over the last two weeks.

The latest incident occurs Saturday night as the Cassville Police Department releases a report on their Facebook Page of a stabbing incident at a storage facility in the community. A juvenile called police dispatch around 8:30 about a person who was in imminent danger. Officers arrived on the scene and found the body of 40-year-old Andey Hunter of Exeter. Officers eventually located the suspect, 30-year-old Richard Randolph of Cassville and he was taken into custody and is facing charges of 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.

This is the third major crime in two weeks following the disappearance of Dr. John Forsyth on May 21 with his body discovered in northwest Arkansas over a week later with his death being investigated as a homicide while late last week seven inmates from the Barry County Jail escaped with one still at-large. In addition, two Cassville teenagers died in a motorcycle crash last Wednesday.
