Individuals from the region will be part of new Missouri State Highway Patrol Officers joining Troop D in January.
According to a release from the patrol, an individual from the Lakes Area and two more from the region are among the 30 people who graduated last week with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy.
Forrestt Jones of Hollister is one of the graduates and will be assigned to Stone and Taney Counties in Troop D. Another area individual, Kyle Goddard of Republic will also be assigned to the Lakes Region while a third individual, Jackson Lock of Nixa, will be assigned to Troop D in Greene County.
This is the 122nd Recruit Class for the patrol which reported to the Academy on July 1.
The new troopers will report to duty in their assigned troops on January 6, 2025 according to the full release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
