A man who was involved in a high speed pursuit in Missouri last year is involved in another this time in his home state of Arkansas.
According to Arkansas Court Documents, Michael David Woods of Green Forest was involved in a high speed pursuit August 2nd as a Harrison Police Officer after receiving a tip was trying to initiate a traffic stop on a motorcycle where the driver and two passengers appeared to be intoxicated. The motorcycle was first spotted at Cottonwood Drive and North Highway 43 in which a pursuit started. Shortly after that, the driver, later identified as Woods, dropped off the two passengers on North Highway 7 then sped off with the pursuit at times exceeding 110 MPH. The pursuit went through Bergman and onto Highway 281 before ending on TZ Road with the bike hitting a patrol vehicle and overturning.
Woods is facing a felony charge of fleeing and several other misdemeanor courts for this incident with Turner scheduled to appear in Boone County Circuit Court today.
Turner was involved in May of 2023 in a pursuit in Missouri that started in Branson and ended in Christian County with Woods being arrested at a residence in Saddlebrooke.
