Two individuals wanted by Law Enforcement were arrested recently in Stone County.
One of the arrests was made by the Missouri State Highway Patrol over the weekend of a man from Protem. The Patrol reports they picked up 44-year-old Eric Hamilton on Failure to Appear Felony Warrants from three counties, Greene, Lawrence, and Ozark. The warrants ranged from Possession of a Controlled Substance to a Family and Traffic Offense. Hamilton was bonded out after being taken to the Stone County Jail.
Another individual, Derek Peek of Arkansas, was arrested by Kimberling City Police over the weekend. According to court documents, Peek was identified as a fugitive wanted on Criminal Mischief Charges in Washington County, Arkansas from 2022. Records indicate the Peek is in the Stone County Jail in Galena awaiting extradition to Arkansas.
