One of the stories developing in the Lakes Region over the last couple of weeks is the current situation at the Taney County Assessors Office.

In the latest edition of the "At Your Service" Podcast, Branson Tri-Lakes News Reporter Jason Wert talks about covering the story from the first mention of issues that had developed with Assessor Susan Chapman to the Taney County Commission. Disputes including her office's budget and being able to pay people she recently hired despite being told by County Auditor David Clark that the money was not available to do so. Also questions that arose from County Commissioners as well as others who have claimed she has used the position to better her Real Estate Business.

Wert also talks about his visit with former staff member Andy Adams bringing forth more allegations and Chapman's response to those allegations and potential further developments in the story.
