On organization who raises funds to help area Law Enforcement Agencies distributes checks to four departments last week.
According to a post on the Benefit the Badge Facebook Page, over $20,000 in funds were presented to the Stone and Taney County Sheriff's Departments as well as to the Branson and Hollister Police Departments. The post indicates that the funds donated will allow those departments to to purchase equipment like gun and ammunition, vests, tasers, and more.
The funds are raised by many of the activities and events conducted by Benefit the Badge through the Fogle Family Foundation.
