The City of Forsyth announces over the weekend that the Boil Order that had been in place due to a water main break has been lifted.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, the test of the water system had come back with no reports of bacteria, so the order was lifted as of Saturday.
A utility contractor had broken a water main while working on Coy Ave near Forsyth schools last Tuesday which triggered the order and gave the city time to clean the system once the break had been fixed.
