The Branson Board of Aldermen hosts a lengthy discussion about the marketing of Branson and the Lakes Region as “Ozark Mountain Christmas.”
A presentation was made at Tuesday's Board of Aldermen Meeting that told the history of Ozark Mountain Christmas and the strength of promoting the area using that verbiage.
Mention was also made of how the drive to push the area as America’s Christmas Tree City was designed to be a part of Ozark Mountain Christmas but ended up either accidentally or intentionally going to the front of the marketing campaign.
Many in the audience commented, including Branson Chamber President/CEO Jason Outman along with members of the Board agreed that all of the efforts can be used under the Ozark Mountain Christmas umbrella.
Later in the meeting, Aldermen Clay Cooper asked about a follow-up action by the city supporting Ozark Mountain Christmas with City Administrator Stan Dobbins saying there were several options including a Resolution which he says his staff will have ready for the next meeting.
The complete discussion can be seen on the City of Branson’s YouTube Channel.
