Branson City Administrator Put on Leave in Advance of Retirement

In a special meeting Tuesday night, the Branson Board of Aldermen have put the City Administrator on administrative leave prior to his retirement.

In a release from the City of Branson, Stan Dobbins leave will be in effect from today through the end of the month, which is his anticipated retirement date. 

With Assistant City Administrator John Manning having resigned earlier this month, the Board has named City Clerk Lisa Westfall as Acting City Administrator. 

The decision was made In a closed Executive Session Tuesday pursuant to Missouri State Statutes. 

“As I recently shared, you would see staff changes at City Hall. It remains your Board's intent that you have a city government that serves YOU, the people of Branson,” Branson Mayor Larry Milton said in the release.

Milton also says in the release that citizens that have questions can reach out to him or their alderman through the contact information on the City's Website.

Milton talked about some of the overall plans for the city earlier Tuesday during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program which can heard below:
