BRANSON, MO (August 27, 2024) – Seven Branson High School students have earned the Advanced Placement Capstone DiplomaTM during the 2023-24 school year. Additionally, one student has earned the AP Seminar and Research CertificateTM. The AP Capstone Diploma program helps students develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills that are crucial for academic success.
To receive the AP Capstone Diploma, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research and on four additional AP Exams. To receive the AP Seminar and Research Certificate, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research. Of the students who participated in the AP Capstone Diploma program at Branson High School:

● 7 were awarded the AP Capstone Diploma. They are: Isaac Badshah (2024 graduate), Hailey Borger (2024 graduate), Clara Dean (current 12th grader, 2025 graduate), Ethan Gones (2024 graduate), Lily Holmes (2024 graduate), Aaron Strohm (2024 graduate), and Logan Velvet (2024 graduate).

● 1 was awarded the AP Seminar and Research Certificate. They are: Cora Hoeflicker (current 12th grader, 2025 graduate).

● Branson High School also had 30 AP Scholars, 14 AP Scholars with Distinction, and 11 AP Scholars with Honors.
