Branson Police P.D. No Shave November to Benefit Taney County Deputy's Family

Branson Police Officers are helping out a colleague whose family is battling cancer.

Acting Branson Police Chief Eric Schmitt, during appearances this week on KRZK's "The Upside" and MY 100.1's "Mornings with Josh Grisham" programs that department is taking part in "No-Shave November" to help the family of Taney County Chief Deputy Matt Wheeler, whose wife Margo is battling Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

Male members of the Department are participating with a $50 minimum donation to the cause while female members that donate are allowed to streak, color, or add hair extensions that are blue, which is the color to signify Colon Cancer Awareness.

Community Members can challenge members of the department for a $50 or more donation to take part in this event. Those challenge donations can be made at City Hall.
