A long-anticipated opening takes place next week at the corner of Main and 6th Streets in Branson.
The Texas-based burger chain Whataburger will open its doors with a ribbon cutting Monday at 10:15 am.
The property that formerly was the site of a church was sold several years ago to a company that began installing a Taco Habitat location before the owner faced several fraud charges. Whataburger acquired the property as part of their expansion in southwest Missouri which also includes restaurants in Ozark, Republic, and Springfield.
After Monday’s Ribbon Cutting, Whataburger will operate 24 hours a day and will become another addition to Branson’s “Hamburger Hill” which also includes McDonalds, Wendys, Steak N Shake, and Chick-fil-A.
