A program that helps supplement the efforts at College of the Ozarks is hosting a luncheon to give people an opportunity to learn more about the program.
Board Chairperson Bob Sarver along with Dr. Natalie Rasnick, Dean of Development at C of O, visited KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program to talk about the Associates Group and an upcoming opportunity for the community to find out how the program aids the school. The luncheon takes place on Thursday August 31 at the Keeter Center.
Sarver and Rasnick said that people interested in finding out more can attend the luncheon to find out about how the support help supply items to the school outside the normal annual budget, which could include smaller items as well as sudden expenses that come up during the school year.
Some of the programs aided by the Associates include the Fire Department where new equipment was needed, upgraded microphones for the Theater Department, and an ultra cold freezer unit for the Biology Department. Other departments like the Child Development Center and School of the Ozarks also benefit from the funds raised by the Associates Program.
More information on the program include contact information about the upcoming luncheon can be found on the College of the Ozarks Website.
