Christian Action Ministries had a second straight successful food drive at a high school football game according to the organization's executive director.

Michelle Dean reports that the CAM Food Drive at Pirates Stadium prior to the Branson Home Football Game with West Plains netted $1,261 in money donations in addition to over 250 pounds of food. Dean tells Ozarks Dynacom that what was raised at that drive alone would provide for over 5,000 meals to families in need in the region. 

CAM began the series of food drives last week, collecting over $300 and over 600 pounds of food at a drive prior to Forsyth's home football game with Hollister. 

The series of drives continues this week as Wolves Stadium will host a drive prior to the Reeds Spring home game against Strafford. 

CAM will collect canned goods, hygiene items, and financial donations according to the release from the Reed Spring School District.
