Cape Fair Man Arrested For Incident With Shots Fired

A person is in custody after an incident at a residence near Reeds Spring Jct. on Friday.

According to a release from the Stone County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a location off of Highway 248 and Old 160 with the report that a man was inside a house with shots fired. According to the release, the man, 19-year-old Chaz Lee Harris of Cape Fair, did not own the property or live there.

Harris was eventually talked into coming out of the home and was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Burglary and Armed Criminal Action and is being held on the Stone County Jail on a $500,000 Bond.
