City Announces Application Process is Now Open for TCED Board of Directors

The Branson government announced that they are accepting applications for the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) until Aug. 2; the full press release is available to read below.

Applications will be accepted until end of day August 2, 2023  

BRANSON, Mo., 7/19/2023 – The City of Branson is taking applications for the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) now until end of day August 2, 2023.  As required by the District’s enabling legislation, any candidate shall be either a resident of the District, own real property within the District, be employed by a business within the District, or operate a business within the District. To apply, click the blue “Board and Committee Vacancies” banner on the city’s website or go to the “Boards & Committees” section of the City’s website, BransonMo.Gov. You can also find applications at the City Clerk’s office, located at 110 W. Maddux, Street. For any questions, please call the Branson City Clerk’s office at 417-337-8522.

The TCED is a special district established under Missouri State Law to promote tourism to the area by collecting and administering a sales tax used for marketing efforts that attracts visitors to the region. The City of Branson, along with surrounding counties and villages helps appoint members to the TCED Board. For more information www.blatced.com.
