The second cold wave is moving through the area today and will plunge temperatures even lower with accumulations of snow expected on Sunday.
SUNDAY UPDATE:
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through the day for the Missouri Lakes Region with one to two inches of snow expected.
Winter Storm Warning is in effect through the day for the Arkansas Lakes Region with a one to three inch snowfall possible with some higher amounts possible in higher elevations.
Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for the whole region with wind chills of -15 to -20 below zero possible.

According to the latest information from the National Weather Service the following advisories and warnings are in effect for the region:
Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the area between from this evening through Tuesday. Wind Chill Warnings are also in effect for parts of the region over the next couple of days, with Wind Chills beginning tonight expected to drop all the way to -20.
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Missouri Lakes Region Sunday afternoon and evening with snow expected to begin mid-afternoon and accumulate between two and three inches while a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for northern Arkansas with amounts possible over four inches.
Snow is expected to end overnight Sunday into Monday.
