Student events
The candidates for Miss Hard Work U. participated in a community service outreach at the end of September, packing and delivering meals for Elevate Branson. The top 10 candidates are continuing to fulfill requirements as part of the competition. They will submit an essay to determine who places in the top five. Following the scoring of the essays, Dean of Students Ryan Knight will announce the top five candidates. The top five will participate in interviews with a panel of judges. After each of the requirements are met, the C of O student body will vote for who will be crowned as Miss Hard Work U.
The coronation ceremony for the title of Miss Hard Work U. will be held at the Jones auditorium at College of the Ozarks on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend. College of the Ozarks will announce the winners via press release following this event.
