Cox Doctor: Delta Variant Much More Aggressive

The Delta Variant of the COVID-19 Virus is much more aggressive and inclusive according to a Cox Health Doctor.

Dr. Tom Trent, Associate Chief Medical Officer at Cox Medical Center Branson, says during an interview Monday on KRZK's Ozarks Now Program that the Delta Variant has proven to be a much faster moving virus and a number of young people affected has been higher than with the original strain of the virus.

Dr. Trent also states that while many people are still electing not to get the vaccine, Cox has seen more people at least inquire about the vaccine and that getting that vaccine is the best defense against the virus.
