Bill Timmsen, who has led the City of Crane Police Department the last three years, has passed away.

The City announces Timmsen's passing in a Facebook post Saturday afternoon.

Timmsen was appointed the city's Chief of Police in January of 2021. According to the city's Facebook Page, Timmesen spent 25 years in the Palm County, Florida Sheriff's Department. He also spent time in the Seed Company Business as well as an Account Executive before returning to Law Enforcement.
