Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and QuoteWizard shows Missouri and Arkansas experienced a rise in overdose deaths.
The CDC’s data shows that Missouri’s previous count of drug overdose deaths went from 2,005 to 2,151. That’s a 7.3% increase. Arkansas saw an increase as well.
