Fire Hits Downtown Cassville Building on Opening Day of Trout Season

While much attention was focused on the opening day of Trout Season at nearby Roaring River State Park, first responders in Cassville had to deal with a building fire.

The Cassville Democrat tells Ozarks First that the fire was believed to have started after 7:00 am on the second floor of the Old Hall Theater in the downtown area. No one was reported to be injured in the blaze.

Cassville Firefighters and Police were assisted in battling the blaze by firefighters from Butterfield and Exeter along with personnel from Barry County Electric.
