One of the series of Independence Day Celebrations in the Lakes Region is one week away.
The Fireburst Celebration around the Kimberling City Bridge over Table Rock Lake is next Tuesday July 2nd.
Ladona Weathers, Member Services and Communications Director for the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, says during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that Fireburst will go off the evening of the 2nd just after 9:00 with the best viewing spots on land and on water within sight of the bridge. Weathers says the timing of the fireworks beginning could be impacted by weather. Weathers recommends those intending to watch the fireworks should be at their viewing location around 8:00. Some roads around the bridge will be closed during the fireworks show.
Weathers added that Fireburst has been supported over 40 years by a group of donors which has continued to contribute to the continued success of the show. Donations are still being accepted through the chamber website, at the chamber website, or at Harter House in Kimberling City.
Weathers also discusses the continuing "Launch Stone County" economic development plan as well as the recently completed Community Guide during her interview which can be found on the "Ozarks Now" Facebook Page as well as below:
