Voters in Tuesday's Election in Stone and Taney County had seven ballot issues to consider.
Two of the issues were countywide for Stone County Voters as both the renewal of the Tax Levy to continue to fund the Developmental Disabilities Board passed by a 1,781 to 1,025 margin while a Sales Tax to help fund 9-1-1 Upgrades in the county also passed 1,878 to 955. Also passing in Stone County was a Sales Tax for Kimberling City to support upgrades to the Police Department 275-228. The one issue that failed in Stone County was a Levy for the Hurley Fire Department with 136 voting No and 79 voting Yes.
In Taney County, the voters in the Kirbyville School District passed their Proposition KIDS Ballot issue for School Safety Improvements 120 to 18 while Forsyth voters renewed their tax for the Fire Department 231-44. The Tax Levy Proposal for Road Improvements in Taneyville failed 41-12.
