Branson’s Parks & Recreation Department will host an Arbor Day Celebration on Earth Day, Friday, April 22, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at Eiserman Park located at 201 Compton Drive.
As part of the Arbor Day celebration, Mayor Larry Milton will declare April 22, 2022, as Arbor Day in Branson, the local TreeKeepers, a volunteer group that helps reforestation efforts in city parks, will plant a memorial canopy tree and there will be many Missouri native tree seedlings given away during the program. Stop by the Branson RecPlex and enter into the “Ask An Arborist” drawing for your first choice of a seedling.
The event will be streamed live on the Branson Parks Facebook page, @Branson.RecPlex. All area residents, community members, businesses and children of all ages are invited to participate in the Arbor Day festivities.
As a designated Tree City USA for 27 years, the City of Branson places great value on community forests in Branson Parks.
