A very hot early summer day is in the forecast for Monday for the Lakes Region.
The National Weather Service has issued Heat Advisories covering the entire Lakes Region with Heat Index Readings possible between 105 and 110. Actual temperature readings Monday could reach 100 in some areas Monday and expected to stay in the 90s the entire week.
Forecasters and other officials encourage people to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
