The City of Hollister will continue development of the land at Hulland Park later this year.
During an interview earlier this month on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" Program, Mayor Lamar Patton and City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss discussed the completion of the ownership of the Hulland Park land with an agreement with the owners of the remaining piece of property in the area that the trailer park formerly occupied. The city has owned much of the land in that area for several years including developing an area for shoreline fishing for Lake Taneycomo and Turkey Creek as well as a kayak and canoe ramp.
A further recap of the plan reported by the Branson Tri-Lakes News indicates the current occupants of the one remaining piece of land in the park will vacate by the end of October and the city is developing a pavilion for the park.
