The Original KHOZ, one of five Ozarks Dynacom Stations in the Lakes Region will be celebrating a special landmark on Thursday.
A celebration of the station's 75th Anniversary of going on the air will take place, which will feature a day long celebration on-air at 94.9 FM and AM 900 as well as an Open House and a Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce event.
Coleman Taylor, Program Director for the Original KHOZ, was interviewed on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program on Monday talking about the festivities, which will begin with the special on-air program which will start at 7:00 am with the Morning Show then followed by "Around the Table" at 9:00 am. Taylor will also host a special show featuring interviews with people associated with the history of the station at 11:00 am. The Public Open House will follow at 2:00 that afternoon with the Harrison Chamber After Hours event to start at 5:00.
Thursday will also see the releasing of a document called "KHOZ 75" produced by Taylor which features interviews and information from KHOZ's Past.
