A pair of bills pushed by a Lakes Area State House Member could soon become law.
156th State Representative Brian Seitz talks about the bills during an interview last week on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program. One bill is the "Missouri Film Investment Act" that allows tax credits for companies that make movies or television programs in the state as well as the "Save Women's Sports Act" which sets up guidelines for competitions based on an individual's biological gender.
Seitz is hopeful that another bill he has been working on to increase the statute of limitations for sexual abuse survivors to age 41 will get to the Governor this year. Seitz is working with Lakes Area State Senator Karla Eslinger to get the bill through both houses before the end of the session in May.
