Work on Gretna Road this week will see a lane of the road close plus an interruption of water service.
The release from the City of Branson is below:
The City of Branson Public Works/Engineering & Utilities Department has permitted a contractor to perform utility work in the City’s Right of Way. A single lane on Gretna Road in front of Elevate Branson to Francis Street will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday, March 10th – 5 p.m. March 12th, 2025. Drivers will use the center turn lane to travel during the lane closure. Customers in that area will experience an interruption of their water service from approximately 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, stay vigilant and watch for workers in the designated work zones alongside the roadway. Traffic control signage and cones will be in place to designate the work zone. Please note that the project is weather-dependent and may be subject to delay.
For questions regarding this project, please contact the City of Branson Public Works/Engineering Department at 417-337-8559.
