The Republican Parties of Taney and Stone Counties are co-hosting a Meet the Candidate Event this weekend.
Liberty Rally will be on Saturday at the Grandview Conference Center at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The first hour and a half of the event will be a meet and greet where Republican Candidates for County, State, and Federal Offices will be set-up in booths with voters getting the opportunity to visit with them individually to discuss issues and their positions.
Just before Noon, the luncheon will begin which will be emceed by Greene County Presiding Commissioner Robert Dixon and will feature a keynote address by 7th District Congressman Eric Burlison.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person with a table of eight available for purchase for $350.
Taney County Republican Central Committee Chairman Ron Houseman, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, said he could take calls for people wanting to attend the rally at 417-337-1552.
