The local Humane Society will now have the city as part of the organization’s name.
Recently, the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society held a ribbon cutting to open their expanded facility and announced that the name of the organization has been changed to the Branson Humane Society.
Officials tell the Branson Tri-Lakes News the name change matches the name of the website plus would help if they ever moved from the current facility on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway.
The ribbon cutting ceremony also gave the organization a chance to highlight the expansion of their facility to better house and take care of dogs and cats that come to their facility.
More information on the Branson Humane Society can be read on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
