Dr. Tim Taylor, who served in three different Lakes Area Schools as an administrator, passes away after a battle with COVID-19.
Taylor, who first came to the Lakes Region as the Superintendent of the Hollister School District, also spent time as the Superintendent in the Taneyville School District before retiring from Public Education in 2017. Over the last few years, Taylor had been the Headmaster of Legacy Academy, a Private Christian School operated by First Baptist Church Branson.
According to several social media accounts and reporting from the Springfield News-Leader, Taylor had contracted COVID-19 in early July and passed away last Saturday at the age of 56.
