MDC Podcast: Agents Handing Out "Citations for Good"

This week's "Missouri Department of Conservation Report" Podcast features information on agents citing young people for good.

Taney County Agent Chris Boyd talks about the Partnership MDC has with Sonic to hand out "Citations" to young people who are exhibiting "Good Outdoor Behavior" which includes keeping areas clean, showing safe habits on the water, etc. The citations are good for a free Ice Cream Cone from area Sonic Drive-Ins. Boyd says the program is a way to highlight good behaviors that keep people safe and promotes keeping the outdoors litter free.

Boyd also talks about Fishing in the Tri-Lakes which has improved, especially on Bull Shoals and Table Rock Lakes as well as maintaining a "Bear Aware" attitude when outdoors.
