The Mayor of Forsyth is looking to serve in a different capacity in government. 

Missi Hesketh has announced a run for the 7th District Congressional Seat currently held by Eric Burlison, who is completing his first term in office. 

Hesketh has served on the Forsyth Board of Aldermen in two different stints, the latest beginning in 2022. This past spring, Hesketh was elected Mayor of Forsyth. 

Hesketh will appear on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program at 11:30 this morning to talk about her run for Congress as well as updating progress in Forsyth. That interview can also be seen later today on the Ozarks Now Facebook page.
