An usual Monday for Americans which includes a National Holiday as well as Inauguration Day for the return of Donald Trump to the White House.
It is a rare concurrence on the calendar where January 20 falls on the third Monday of the month which is also the federally recognized Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. January 20 is also the official date every four years for the Inauguration of the new President and the start of the new administration.

ln observance of the Holiday, federal, state, and many county and municipal offices will be closed today as will financial institutions. Also, no regular mail deliver will happen today.
The Presidential Inauguration will take place in Washington, D.C. but has been moved inside because of the extreme cold temperatures. Donald Trump's Inauguration will take place at 11:00 am local time and will be covered as part of KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program.
In addition, some flags around the country will fly at Full Staff for today only in honor of the inauguration, then return to Half Staff as had been ordered by outgoing President Joe Biden after the death of former President Jimmy Carter, who died on December 29. Both Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe have ordered state flags to full mast for today.
