The Missouri State Highway Patrol works around a dozen accidents in the Lakes Region over the weekend.
Five cars were involved in an accident on Highway 65 north of Branson late Friday afternoon that tied up traffic for a while into the evening hours that only one minor injury resulted from the crash.
Three other crashes results in serious injuries including two Friday evening as 34-year-old Crystal Felter of Hollister overturned her vehicle in a crash on Highway 39 south of Aurora while a 13-year-old male juvenile was seriously injured when a vehicle he was a passenger in overturned on Highway 160 near Rockaway Beach. Three other people in the vehicle including the 17-year-old driver sustained minor to moderate injuries in the late Friday evening crash.
The other crash involving a serious injury occurs Sunday afternoon when 56-year-old Bernard Boyne of Omaha overturns his motorcycle on Ridgedale Road in southern Taney County. Boyne was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of his injuries.
