
Over the last three days, Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol has worked several traffic crashes in the Lakes Region.
One of the crashes that occurred Saturday afternoon on Highway 160 east of Reeds Spring in Stone County when a trailer became unattached from a vehicle and collided with another vehicle head on. Two people from Green Forest in the vehicle hit sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
In another crash, a 55-year-old man from Branson sustained serious injuries in a crash on Bee Creek Road. According to the report, the scooter he was driving Saturday night went off the roadway down an embankment with the driver being ejected from the vehicle when it struck a driveway. The man, who was not wearing any safety items according to the report, was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
Another crash occurred in Stone County near Cape Fair Friday evening while the other occurred in Taney County on Walleye Circle east of Forsyth with each crash resulting in minor to moderate injuries for the drivers.
