Nerd Informants Media will participate in the upcoming Missouri Comic Con, according to Josh Grisham.
On Wednesday, Grisham said he and Nerd Informants Media cofounder Tim Church will take part in the convention this weekend at the Springfield Expo Center. Grisham and Church will have a panel and speak about how their brand launched and grew on the afternoon of Feb. 10. They will also have an event during the later part of Feb. 11.
Grisham said he and Branson Tri-Lakes News Managing Editor Church are best friends and expressed excitement about their panel called "Finding Your Voice Through Persistence." He said this will help attendees who are building their own brands.
This can include artists, cosplayers, food brands and more. The panel aims to speak to those individuals.

While it tells the story of Nerd Informants Media, Grisham explained that anyone building something can connect to the message of persistence. He said "persistence is a big part" of growth."
On Feb. 11, Church and Grisham will host a "cosplay dating game" that will reflect old television dating shows. The twist the media cofounders bring to the game is that contestants will try to compete for a date and must do so without breaking character. This game is open for cosplayers only.
The cofounders have a history with the event. Grisham and Church have participated as table representatives in the past; opportunities like that enable them to engage with the regional and local fans. While that helps them grow their Branson brand, the event itself has also enjoyed significant growth.

Grisham said that the Missouri Comic Con has grown its "reach in a major way." Its brand name has gained more recognition in Springfield and Arkansas.
The Branson radio host explained that one element of this growth is the event's guest list of celebrities. The guest list is as follows:
This year’s lineup of guests includes Sean Astin (“The Goonies”), Steve Burns (“Blue’s Clues”), musician Andy Black (Black Veil Brides), Booboo Stewart (Disney’s “Descendants” franchise), Billy West (“Futurama”), Johnny Yong Bosch (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”), Michelle Hurd (“Star Trek: Picard”), Sam J. Jones (“Flash Gordon”), WWE Hall of Famers Kane and Kurt Angle, Grey Delisle (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”), Erika Harlacher (“Violet Evergarden”), the return of former Springfield radio DJ Scott Innes (“Scooby-Doo”), and more.
