Nixa's Aquatics Center Pool to Open Monday

Nixa's Aquatics Center pool is opening on Monday, according to a Facebook post from the city's parks and recreation department.

Nixa Aquatics Center Pool to Open June 10th!

We are thrilled to announce that the Nixa Aquatics Center will officially open on Monday, June 10th. After completing extensive repairs to fix the pool’s leak, we are ready to welcome our community back for a fantastic summer.

Last pool season, once we found out the pool was leaking and had to be closed, we worked to try to resolve a significant leak in the pool. Unfortunately, we learned those first repairs did not stop the leak and we discovered much more work would be required. In the fall of 2023, we hired a pool engineering company to work with staff to develop the plans necessary to replace all the underground water piping for the pool.

A huge ‘thank you’ to our community for your patience and support during this intensive repair process. We also want to give a special shout-out to Branco for leading the construction work and to our Parks Department staff who have worked diligently to prepare the pool for this season and train our team.
