NIXA, Mo. — Cassidy Station is adding an event space to Estes Farm in Nixa. After opening a mercantile store in December of 2022 and a flower shop in February, they are now opening their wedding venue.
The Estes farm was established in 1872, Kyle Estes, the current owner, said this farm has been in his family for generations.
“Some of these buildings are the original buildings, the barn and the smokehouse,” Estes said. “And even this house is over 100 years old.”

Dr. Nate Moore Named Next Branson Schools Superintendent
BRANSON, MO (February 4, 2025) – The Branson Public Schools Board of Education has promoted an internal candidate to fill the role of Superintendent Dr. Brad Swofford. Effective July 1, Dr. Nate Moore will succeed Swofford, who is retiring after 30 years of service to the Branson School District.

BRANSON, MO (February 3, 2025) – Branson Public Schools preschool registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. To be considered for placement, children must reside within the boundaries of Branson School District, turn three or four years old on or before July 31, 2025, and complete a free developmental screening through the Branson Parents as Teachers program.
