One Dead, One Arrested after Shooting in Bradleyville

Formal charges are pending after the death of a man late Thursday night.

Taney County Sheriff Brad Daniels releases information on the incident via the department's Facebook Page:

On the evening of 11/2/2023 Deputies responded to an address in Bradleyville for a report of a male subject with a gunshot wound. When Deputies arrived they attempted lifesaving measures, but were ultimately unsuccessful. One male suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held pending formal charges. 

The victim is identified as 52 year old Jon E Lovelace of Bradleyville. 

The suspects name is being withheld until formal charges are filed.
