OZARK, Mo. — A newly proposed development in Ozark could bring the small town its first Aldi, among other stores.
Dubbed, “Ozark Marketplace”, the 40 acre plot just off Highway 65 and South Street—across from the Ozark Walmart—if allowed to go through, would be the home of up to 13 new commercial businesses.
Five of those are already spoken for, including Aldi, McDonalds, Plaza Tire Service, Casey’s and Dutch Bros. Coffee, which is new to the Ozarks.
“We’re all about economic development, expansion, creating more jobs. This opportunity right here not only will create retail spaces in the available lots for Ozark, but it’s also going to create between 250 to 400 jobs in this community, which is always impactful,” said Chris Russell, President of the Ozark Chamber of Commerce.
