Branson Parks and Recreation Custodial Technician is Branson government’s Employee of the Month; Alderman Clay Cooper presented Mills with the award during Tuesday evening’s Board of Aldermen meeting.
“Peggy was nominated for her recent contributions to the Fall Community Garage Sale. She went out of her way to assist the patrons of the sale, many of whom were elderly seniors,” Cooper said. The alderman noted that Mills was “proactive” and aided with heavy items for who were renting booths.
Cooper also highlighted Mills as taking items to a local charity group. “Not only was she a big help, but she also made sure all unwanted and leftover items made it to a local charitable organization,” he said. He offered examples of compliments to Peggy and emphasized her community-centered service.
“Many people commented about her kind and caring attitude. Peggy can always be counted on to go the extra mile and has a heart for service. Her actions embody the Branson City value of Service and Courtesy,” Cooper said.
