
Summer is right around the corner, which means it is almost pool season! In order to ensure the community and facilities are safe and prepared, Taney County Health Department (TCHD) is hosting Pool School. Anyone operating or maintaining a pool is encouraged to attend this free training, especially those at hotels or other public pools.
Where: Tuesday, April 29 from 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm
When: Club Wyndham Mountain Vista Registration Building: 141 Champagne Blvd. Branson, MO
“Creating a safe and healthy environment for every visitor is our priority,” says Erica Logsdon, Environmental Health Manager. “Pool School is a great opportunity to learn all of the guidelines so you can have a successful summer at your facility.”
This free course includes an overview of the following topics:
• How to Provide a Safe Swimming Experience for Visitors,
• Compliant Chemical Levels,
• How to Prevent Frequently Observed Violations,
• Walk Through Pool Inspection and Hands on Pool Testing (Bring your own test kit),
• Water Contamination Procedures
Seating is limited so pre-registration is important. Call to pre-register at 417-334-4544 ext. 593. Registrations will be accepted until 4 pm on Monday, April 28th or until the sessions are full. Additional information can be found at www.taneycohealth.org.
