A car vs. 18-wheeler in southern Taney County sends a man from Ridgedale to Cox Medical Center Branson with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon. 

The crash took place at the intersection of Highways 65 and 86 in Ridgedale when the 18-wheeler failed to stop for a red light and broadsided a car driven by 24-year-old Jacob Morrison.

The driver of the 18-wheeler, 30-year-old Tyler Holliman of Rockford, Illinois, was not reported as injured in the crash which took place just after 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.
