Work on a street leading into a subdivision to be closed several months for infrastructure work.
The release below is from the City of Branson:
A permitted contractor will be performing work on Caudill Way to install a box culvert beginning Monday, April 21 and this project is expected to continue through late summer. The section of this roadway including the low-water crossing on Caudill Way will be closed for the duration of this project. The Taneycomo Acres subdivision will remain accessible by Celtic Drive and Jupiter Way during the performance of the work.
Please note this elevated crossing will allow for improved safety and accessibility for school buses, emergency vehicles, deliveries, residents and visitors during weather events.
Traffic control package will include signage and marked detours. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, stay vigilant and watch for workers in the designated work zones. This project is weather-dependent and may be subject to delay. Traffic delays are expected to be at a minimum during this stormwater improvements project.
This project has been funded by a combination of tourism and transportation taxes.
