A portion of one of the major secondary roads in Branson will be closed this week.

According to a release from the City, Green Mountain Drive from Highway 165 to Keeter Street closes at 6:00 am Monday while an independent contractor will do some work in the roadway. The work is expected to be complete by the end of the week. 

Signage will be posted detouring traffic around the work zone according to a map posted by the city, using Highway 165 to 76 Country Music Blvd to Keeter Street. 

Motorist are advised to expect delays in the area of the work and detour.
