Two Lakes Area Legislators are among those appearing in a Town Hall Style Meeting next week in Branson.

State Representative Brian Seitz announces through a release that he along with State Senator Mike Moon will be a part of the gathering at the God and Country Theater Monday July 26 at 6:00 pm. Both legislators will give remarks and answer questions during the meeting which will be moderated by Joshua Heston of the group State of the Ozarks.

“I believe this event will be beneficial for the community to know more about what we are doing in the capitol and understand why we have taken some of the stances we have,” said Seitz in the release. “We work for the people, and direct contact with them is important so we can hear from them on the issues. The voters in my district are my priority, and I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing from them at the town hall.”

The release also states performances will include Branson High School Chamber Choir students, Bobby Allynn and Talia Tinoco performing the National Anthem, a Neil Diamond Tribute band covering “America” and a performance of “American Trilogy” by Jerry Presley.

The release states that Critical Race Theory along with COVID-19 Mandates will be among the topics of discussion.

The event is open to the public.
